This is a nice nude color. Kinda beige with a hint of pink.

NOTD - Accidental French Manicure

I didn't like Sequin Sash (Essie) after 4 coats because it was too sheer. I added Sally Hasen's 'I Do' on the tips which really bumped it up. I can't wait to do a look with I Do alone. This is a great color!

Origination - Necklace

Origination - Necklace

I had necklaces sitting in a jewelry box that I never wore because they were 'out of site out of mind.' I love jewelry. LOVE LOVE LOVE jewelry. I tend to wear the same classic pieces more than I touched my unique and cute 'regular' pieces. (The pieces from Forever 21, New York & Co, original pieces from Africa, etc.) Well, I wanted to wear more of what I had and decided to put them in the closet over my belt rack on tacks. I love this idea and I wear these pieces more now because they are visible. I didn't hang any of my fine jewelry or silver though. I didn't want to deal with having to clean the silver more often (silver is no fun to clean!)or something getting lost.

Organization - Belts

After spending painful hours looking for belts, I searched for something that really help put everything at my finger tips. I found a nice belt holder that I like. I also had my father make one that I haven't used yet, but I will. This method is a winner for me. How are you storing your belts?

*A tie holder is always a good way to store belts.*

Witch Hazel as a Toner

I have been using witch hazel as a toner for a few years now. Do everyone need a toner? No. I went without using a toner for years after learning everyone do not need them and my skin was ok. But, I love the refreshed feeling I get from using witch hazel plus, I know all the makeup is totally gone. I use T.N. Dickinson's brand. I have used many others, but this one is my favorite.

*There is a blue and also a yellow bottle. Both are the same thing.*

Raw Honey - Facial Mask

Use raw honey for a mask and your skin will thank you. I promise. I saw many many reviews and recommendation on this product. I instantly got the mental picture of sticky, icky, and gooey honey sliding down my face. (Not a pretty picture huh!) with that being said, I ignored the honey raves. Well, I saw one review that MADE me buy this stuff. The lady posted a before and after shot of her cystic acne on her cheek. She said in 2 - 3 days it was gone.

I purchased some raw honey and gave it a try. (Raw Honey can be found on the net or at Whole Foods) I had two new PMS pimple and used the honey for 3 days and they were gone! Now, I use other acne treatment that will get rid of the pimples in the same amount of time but the honey had an extra bonus. The other meds left spots. Not really dark spots but still spots. The honey cleared up the pimples and left no signs of it ever being on my face. That had me sold!!

How did I use it? I smeared the honey on in a very thin layer then covered it with a bandage before bed. That is it! Give it a try.

*This can also be used as a facial mask by applying a very thin layer of the honey on your face. Remember, keep the layer thin. It can be left on for 20 mins; but I normally put it on and forget about it.*

Essie Polish - Sexy Divide

Essie is having a BOGO free sale this month at Trade Secret. (If you want to try the polish, hurry and go!)

Here is a deep dark vampy purple. (Sexy Divide.) This pic is 3 or 4 days old and the polish is still amazing looking with no chips. I used Essie's 3-way glaze as a top and base coat.

I am not normally into dark colors; but this grew on me and I really like it.

Nads Wand

Okay, so I had a busy week and didnt make it to my threader this week. I had to become a DIYer.

I plucked my brows some and they look fine. I can make it until Monday. BUT............I wasn't going to use that Nair on my upper lip or anywhere else. (My skin is too sensitive) I had some NADS (the wand) here that I never used because I was chicken. OMGoosh, I should have used it a long time ago. It was easy and the results are wonderful. I might never let her thread/wax my upper lip again since I can do it myself! I love it and the results are amazing.

Just a quick Note.

I haven't blogged much this month but I have sooo much to share with you all. I will be back soon with more updates and just some randomness.

Oh, let me add a hair miss! I used Aloe Vera gel (Fruit of The Earth) after I washed my hair Friday. It looked beautiful and dried with very little frizz. I washed my hair last night before the India.Arie concert, which was great, and my hair had tangles from hell! I had to wash it 3 times and condition twice to get my hair right. The tangles are the reason this product gets a thumbs down from me.

Lip Balm: MyLipStuff.com

Nothing better than soft, smooth, kissable lips right?? Okay, maybe a few things, but I love soft lips and I love lip balm!! I came across a site named www.MyLIPSTUFF.com. They have Over 400 Flavors of Natural Lip Balm to Feed Your Addiction! First let me say the balm is very smooth, natural, and feels great on the lips. She has so many great flavors and scents that hard to narrow down a list. I have eight of these. I purchased the 6 pk bundle and I had to have Red Velvet Cake Balm so I ordered it extra. You get a free lip balm if you spend $15.00.

I love her mission statement. (The business major in had to pay attention to it! lol) I will list it below. I have:
**Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream - not one of my favs. I expected something else. It's just okay.
**Mixed Mystery - I like this! This was my free balm with purchase.
**Lavender Pound Cake - I didnt think it would be that much Lavender to this one. If you dont care for Lavender, you might want to skip this one It's Okay.
**Dulce De Leche - different but nice
**Vanilla Buttercream - It's cool.
**Strawberry & Chocolate - Again, it's cool.
**Bananas Foster - I like this one. (I like eating Bananas Foster also.)
**Red Velvet Cake - I love love love Red Velvet cake so this is my favorite out of hem all.

Check it out. www.mylipstuff.com

Her mission statement:
My Lip Stuff's ultimate mission is to end the suffering of people with chapped lips all across the land. In the process, we strive to end animal testing and save the environment with chemical-free natural products!

Is this a tall order? Absolutely. But we are dedicated- and are willing to start small. If we all do our part our combined efforts will make a big impact on the future of the planet, & just maybe we'll find a cure for something-- even if it is just chapped lips!

My Lip Stuff's products are NEVER tested on animals & contain natural (from the earth) ingredients that are skin loving. Our products do NOT contain any harsh ingredients- and NEVER contain petroleum or mineral oil! We also do what we can by using recycled (and recyclable) materials whenever possible, and even using "green power" (power from renewable resources such as wind, water, or landfill gases-instead of oil). We also Drive a Hybrid, and use only fluorescent lighting (no incandescent bulbs here!).
In the end, We strive to create a natural product made from only the highest quality ingredients, with the least amount of impact on the environment and its inhabitants, for the lowest possible price.

Wet n Wild Makeup

I know some of you are thinking, Wet n Wild?? Are you serious Tee?!?! I happened to see an article on www.totalbeuty.com that had a list of the best and worst Wet n Wild products. I am not a fan of WW products, but I viewed the list anyway. Since the products are BOGO Free this week at Walgreens (psst...GO), I tried the Silk Finish blush, the Mega Eyes eyeshadow trios, and the Glass Gloss Lip Gel. I actually like all of these products. The blush is beautiful, the lip gloss is smooth, and the eye shadow didn't crease. I only used the eyeshadow once. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to use my UDPP. The shadow lasted all day. I can't wait to try it with my UDPP. Wet n Wild....who would have though!

*I like the blush the best. Anyone who knows my love for makeup knows I am a blush junkie. This blush is very pigmented and a little goes a long way. I have Pearlescent Pink (I haven't tried this one yet), Heather Silk (Haven't tried this color either), Berry Shimmer (pretty and only takes a very little!), Mellow Wine (a beautiful beautiful shade.)
To read the Total Beauty Article click here.

Don't forget the BOGO free sale this week at Walgreens!! Every product listed above was only $2.99. What better way to try the product!

Flirt Pressed Powder

During a recent trip to Kohl's, I stopped at the cosmetic counter. I saw this pressed powder called Love & Matteness Oil-Free Pressed Powder. Well, being the oily skin type, I had to try it out. I tried it in the store and was really impressed. I decided to grab one and checkout. I reached down to pick up my color and Oh My Goodness, it wasn't there!! So I started this vicious cycle for about 2 or 3 weeks looking for this product. Called both Kohl's stores in my area and looked online. No success. So, I was at the point where I was calling the store every other day to look for this stuff. Yesterday, I went in and decided to look again even though I called about 3 hours prior and was told, "No, we do not have it in." I take a look and my heart sinks.....Still, No pressed powder in my color. I was moved to check behind the other colors and I be darned if I didn't find 3 in my color!!!

Anyway, I wore it last night and today. So far, I am loving it. My color is 09 Bodacious Beige. The coverage and color is very good. Look for it the next time you are Kohl's (or visit their website) and give it a try.

LUSH Products - Bubble Bar 'Ma Bar Bubble Bar'

Lush is truly one of my weaknesses. I could go on and on and on about my favorite products. But I tried their lip balms on my last trip and they are really nice. They are very smooth on the lips and the taste is not overpowering. The soap are so darn lovely. I love so many of the soaps. I just revisited Honey I Shrunk The Kids and this soap feels heavenly on the skin. But I digress, I come to discuss another lush Product.

The Bubble Bars are so darn lovely. I have Ma Bar Bubble Bar and it smells lovely! It doesn't smell like Chocolate or Toffee to me. Just a really lovely smell and the bubbles are very nice. The sales rep said the bar can be broken up and used for at least three uses.

Smashbox Shadows Depotted

Here are the Smashbox eyeshadows depotted in a MAC Palette. I love them sooo much better depotted. Smashbox has the screw on lids. That gets tiresome. (If you want to see how to depot Smashbox shadows, look up frenchtoastvegan on youtube.)

I know for sure Milani, Jane, NYX, and Smashbox will fit in the MAC palette. These are the only ones I have tried. I have heard that many other will fit.

*Fixing broken shadows will be my next project.

Depotting H.I.P

I have H.I.P. eyeshadows that I depotted last year and put them in tins. Well, the tins weren't practical and I never used them because they were out of site and out of mind. There is a great video on Youtube on how to depot them if you need help. (Look up EmsyJay)

Fast forward to the present. MizzBrown (Thanks bunches!) posted on using palettes by Japonesque to hold the HIP shadows. I love the palettes so much better than the tins. The palettes can be ordered from Amazon. (Search Japonesque)

Since I was in a depotting mood, I decided to give my Smashbox shadows a try too. They fit like a charm in the MAC palette. I am posting pics of those also. I still have 4 HIP shadows to depot but I am not in the mood to depot anytime soon. I am trying to decide which color to depot since I only have one spot left. I think I will depot Charisma or Sassy and leave the metallic shadow untouched. Tell me your thoughs.

I almost forgot, Prestige shadows fit in the Japonesque palettes. It's crazy that I had never used them until today. All because they were neatly packed away. Off to enjoy my shadows. :^) Happy Depotting

Bronzer: Clinique True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer

I posted about a bronzer and had every intention on getting the Lorac Bronzer from Sephora but hadn't made time to visit the mall. Today I went to Macy's and decided to stop by Clinique since they are having 'with gift' going on right now. I was walking around the counter thinking, "Whatever could I possibly need from Clinique?" Honestly, NOTHING!!! The bronzer popped in my head and the saleslady, who looked just like Reese Witherspoon's big sister, said Clinique had some really nice bronzers.

Well, I tried two and feel in love with the second and didn't look at the other colors. I went outside to see the color in natural sunlight and it was beautiful. I am in love!!! I will enjoy wearing this bronzer this summer. **The color I purchased is Sunkissed.

Oily Skin: Moisturizer by Estee Lauder

I have crazy extreme oily skin. I use to skip moisturizing even though I knew EVERYONE should moisturize their skin. I am one of those 'oil slick' type of oilys. After many years and many dollars wasted, I found the perfect moisturizer for my only skin. It is Estee Lauder's Clear Difference Advanced Oil-Control Hydrator. I also have sensitive skin and this didn't break me at all. If you purchase this product, make sure you get the one picture here and not the other one containing SPF. <--- It left me oily.

This can be found at any Estee Lauder counter. I happened to pick this one up in Dillards. Give it try. I promise it's worth the money. (and I am always looking for the best value.)

*I use another moisturizer also that I will blog about a little later.

Lorac TANtalizer Baked Bronzer

I am looking for an outstanding bronzer. OUTSTANDING I say! Well one of my friends suggested Lorac TANtalizer Baked Bronzer. It received mixed reviews on Sephora and it seemed as if the product worked best on Olive and Darker skin. (Which is a plus for me!) I will give this a try but I wanted to hear of anyone else's favs. I will report on the Lorac.

Cantu Leave In

I used the cantu Leave In last night on my flat ironed hair and it was great. It only takes a little bit and the cream is not too heavy on my hair. I used this before while wet bunning and it was a huge hit. I was afraid it might be to heavy on my flat ironed hair but that wasn't the case at all. It is definitely worth trying.

FHI Platform Flat Iron

I went to have my hair done two days ago and my beautician used the FHI Flat Iron. You all know I love my Royale Flat Iron. LOVE IT!! But after she used the FHI Platform, I was looking to see if my Royale was somewhere in hiding. This FHI letf my hair silky straight and beautiful. The best factor was she used no extra products to flat iron with. This iron made all the magic happen on it's own. (Not some truly amazing product!) This is a great tool for less than the retail price of the Royale. I saw the FHI Platform on Amazon for $140.00.

Sonia Kashuk : Blending Sponge

Have you seen the Blending Beauty Sponge at Sephora? It's a neat little that has been getting rave reviews all over the net. The Sponge is around $20.00 at Sephora. Check it out on Sephora.com.

Sonia Kashuk has a similar sponge that is GREAT!! I love this thing. I use mine damp and my makeup is flawless. My foundation application was seamless and smooth. I wont go so far as to say I will stop using my brushes, but this sponge is pretty darn amazing. It is $9.99 in the store and $8.99 online. (Target)

*You can also wash the sponge with Dr. Bonners liquid soap! Truly Amazing. Check out Sonia Kashuk products in any Target.

Clarisonic Brush

I remember seeing the Clarisonic facial brush in my dermatologist office and thought, "No way that brush is needed! They come up with so many ways to make a buck!" Well, I moved the brush to the back of my mind and didn't think about it again.

Fast forward six months later. I kept hearing all the rave reviews about this brush and went into 'research mode.' I LOVE this brush! I no longer think it's hype or a money marketing scheme to push an unnecessary product. My skin is much smoother since using the Clarisonic brush.

This brush can be found in major department stores, on the web, and Sephora. I have the pink brush and I give this product 5 of 5 stars!

Cucumbers and Lemon Flavored Water

Water is essential to our bodies and something we all must drink at least 8 glasses of daily right? Right. (Well technically, water intake depends on one's body weight...etc.) But for the sake of the 'norm', lets go with the recommended eight glasses a day.

Now, here is a tip you must try. I stumbled across an article telling how a few celebs (Beyonce and Oprah) would not drink their water unless it had cucumbers and lemons in it. Well, I gave it a try one day and it was really delicious! The taste is very...........refreshing. I like it better with cucumbers only. Either way, the whole water drinking experience is ten times better! Give it a try and let me know what you think.

*Some people leave the peel on the lemon. This left a horrible after-taste in my water. I peeled the lemon and experienced a better tasting flavored water. If you look down a few entries, you can add the True Lemon packets I blogged about to get the lemon flavor. Happy water drinking!!

Pibbs 514 Hair Dryer

I have had my Pibbs 514 Dryer for over a year and only used it two times. My main rationale for getting the dryer was it would pay for itself if I used it consistently. Well, it still hasn’t paid for itself. One of the main reason I wasn’t using it before was because it was so hot on my ears. My ear always felt like they were on fire!! I intended to find something at Sally’s to cover my ears, but I never remembered to look.

Last night I waited until 11:30 to rinse conditioner out of my hair out. I knew my hair would be soaking wet the next morning if I didn’t sit under the Pibbs dryer. So, I sat and thought of a way to make it work. Well let me tell you, a creative mind saves money! I took my cotton squares (I use them to remove makeup) and placed them over my ears. It worked like a charm!!! I said under the dryer for 40 mins and my hair was dry. Yes, only 40 mins! I didn't rollerset; I did a braidout. Now this is coming from a person who normally has to sit under the dryer for two hours to dry. “Oh Pibbs, how I love thee!”

*Here is an Amazon Link to the dryer, but it can be googled to find the best deal.

True Lemon

In a search to find something to help drink more water (I hate drinking water), I came across True Lemon. It is a packet of crystallized lemon that can be added to water bottles or any 10-16oz beverage. It comes in Lemon, Orange, and Lime. I have tried Lemon and Orange and tend to like the lemon better. Give it try.

* Consistent fresh lemon or lime taste without any mess, waste or inconvenience;
* 100 percent all natural ingredients including fresh lemon or lime juices and oils;
* 0 calories and 0g carbohydrates;
* No artificial or natural sweeteners;
* No preservatives or sodium; and
* Offers 25 percent of an adult’s daily Vitamin C requirements.

*I am not totally giving up my crystal lite yet.* They can be found in any local grocery store.

Ballmania Lip Balm

I was in Dilliards this weekend and the saleslady kept raving about Ballmania Lip Balm. I was like, "I will pass, I found something I already like." She kept talking about other things and the convo goes BACK to Ballmania. Then the proceeds to tell it was one of Oprah's pick. I am still sitting there like . So I think of the nicest way to say I don't care what is Oprah's pick; I gotta like it.

This lady is not letting the Ballmania Lip Balm issue die. So she opens up one and say, "Try it."

Well, I am pleased to say it is now one of Tee's picks!

This stuff

* Feels great
* Has SPF 20
* Smell and taste good (It's impossible NOT to taste it.)
* Can be purchased at the mall
* Cute,
* Only 7 bucks
* It will last awhile.

You can check it out at www.ballmania.com

Royale Flat Iron

I have gone through some flat irons and was on this constant search to find the 'perfect' flat iron. Well, my search is OVER!! My new love is the Royale Flat Iron. WHERE HAS THIS FLAT IRON BEEN ALL MY LIFE! Now the lady had me thinking she was being to much of a 'super sales women' using terms like, "This will be your new best friend, love, live it, dream it, believe, caress it, become one with it, this will change your life." So I thought, But after using the thing and seeing my own before and afters, I was sold!!!! Now, I have a few irons I need to try to sell now. (and I loved my Sedu before I tried this iron.)

I am so impressed by this iron. Here is just a little bit from their site. "The 100% Ceramic plates produce far-infrared technology that seals the cuticles with the natural moisture and causing the hair to be humidity safe, while eliminating any frizzy or puffy influences." I agree with them.

This iron has a feature that even dries damp hair. When the woman said this, I was like, "No way you are putting that iron on my wet hair to fry it out." But I watched her do it and then she did mine, just wow. (Only the premium flat irons has this feature she said.)

I purchased mine in the mall. They are the 'pushers' you normally try to hurry past because you know they are trying to hustle off something. Click here for the link to the website.

PREMIUM STRAIGHTENER

Multani Facial Mask

I have been using a new facial mask for about 3 weeks or more. I purchased Multani powder at my local Indian store. If the Multani is not on the shelf at your local store; ask them to order it. Sometimes you can save on shipping fees like this. (I did!) There is also google search. (Search Multani Powder)

I mixed the Multani powder with Rose water. <--- (Also purchased at the local Indian store) I was instructed to use Rose water and I haven't tried anything else.
Mix the powder with the rose water to make a paste. It doesn't take much. I apply the paste with a foundation brush. <---Personal preference.

This mask is great and my skin is baby soft.
